Potret LisaLisabona Rahman (Lisa) diterima di program Preservation and Presentation of the Moving Image, Universiteit van Amsterdam, Belanda.

This very specific knowledge is only offered by very few universities around the world. Lisa chose this field of study because she wants to make sure that Indonesian film history can be cherished by the world’s future generations. The condition of Indonesian classical work of cinema is very alarming at the moment. If not restored, even the surviving 10 percent of the history will vanish.

About tuatuasekolah
When looking for scholarships, Cecil, Ellen and Lisa have always been asked to explain why they had to wait for a decade before deciding to pursue their Master’s degrees. ‘Tua’ literally means old, so the coined phrase suggests that education and the quest for knowledge continues regardless of which stage of life we are in. For the three of them, a decade was necessary to understand how arts and culture works in Indonesia, as well as to identify which points in the sectors that need addressing.

This first fundraising project started by offering blank notebooks for sale designed by Cecil Mariani for @tuatuasekolah through online social network.
